Pressroom Team Lead
The Pressroom Team Lead will act as a liaison to the Pressroom Manager.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Team Lead you will be responsible for the coordination and approval of paid time off for all individuals within your team
Coordinate and schedule workload within your team
Balance team resources across multiple shifts
Provide technical support and training
Mentor, coach and instill company values
Performs miscellaneous projects and completes various tasks as requested by management
Work with the pressroom on implementation and execution of 5S program
Assist with Continuous Improvement projects
Ensure daily press maintenance and color calibrations are being performed as scheduled
Monitor quality control throughout the shift to ensure we are exceeding expectations
Work with Pressroom Performance Manager on implementation of TPM program
Provide daily shift report covering press issues, file issues and general performance
Qualifications and Skills
Education, Experience and Credentials
High school education
3 years experience in pressroom production
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High attention to detail
Occasionally troubleshoot and adjust equipment as needed
Ability to read work orders, complete any paperwork associated and communicates any issues
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in basic computer programs such as; Excel, Word, etc.
