Fulfillment Specialist

Job Summary

The Fulfillment Specialist’s role will focus on the highly dynamic needs of supporting one of our major clients from a work order fulfillment process. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Process out-bound customer orders (work orders, new stores, animations, punch lists, etc.) to meet agreed upon service level agreement (SLA). To include, but not limited to:
    • Print packing slips
    • Pull fixtures, graphics, and other material
    • Pack and stage fixtures, graphics, and other material as to arrive undamaged to the customer
    • Complete shipping process based on customer requirements and/or The Bernard Group guidelines
  • Process in-bound finished goods, customer replenishment orders, and returns from customers; to include but not limited to:
    • Quality Control
    • Update inventory system with correct quantities
    • Stocking material, to include assigning inventory location
  • Material Management
    • Kit breakdown and inventory maintenance
    • Cycle Counting
      • Customer owned material
      • TBG owned material
  • Material Obsolescence
    • Dispose / Recycle
  • Work area cleaning and maintenance
  • Anything assigned or apparent
  • Cross-training and continuous learning

Qualifications and Skills

Physical Requirements

  • Walking, kneeling, standing for 6 to 8 hours per shift
  • Be able to lift up to 70 pounds with or with out accommodations
  • Fork truck certified within 30 days of starting position
  • Use different types of material moving equipment (i.e., pallet jack, forklift, cart, two-wheeler, and so on)

Education, Experience, and Credentials

  • Two year degree in business or management, or equivalent work experience
  • Basic inventory management methodologies
  • Fork truck experience, a plus
  • ERP/MRP experience: ePace a plus
  • Experience with Apple Mac operating system, a plus
  • Experience with MS-Excel and MS-Word, intermediate a plus
  • Fluent in the English language to include reading and writing
  • Tactful written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management and the ability to multi-task in a high stress environment with rapidly changing priorities
